Mar Baselios English Medium School is a Christian Minority school established in the year 1992 and administered by the Corporate Educational Agency of the Malankara Catholic Diocese of Bathery. The School is under the religious jurisdiction of the Malankara Catholic Bishop of Bathery. In 1992 the school was started in an asbestos building near the St. George Church, Engapuzha. The campus was shifted to the newly constructed large and beautiful building in the beginning of the session 2000-2001. Its campus is spread over an area of five acres by the side of Engapuzha-Kodencheri road. It has adequate facilities for educational and co-curricular facilities for about thousand students. The school has been received the minority status from the National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions, Government of India in the year 2011( F.No 752- 2011-56626)

The day to day management of the school rests in the able hands
of Rev. Fr. Thomas Mannithottam, the manager. The school is affiliated to
the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. Classes are
offered from LKG to Senior Secondary. As per the CBSE order the school
has been upgraded into Senior Secondary level from 1st April 2014.
